- Go to the settings option in your iphone and then click on Mobile Data there. After that click on the Mobile Data options and then Mobile Data Network. After opening Mobile Data Network or cellular data network, on the top you will see APN. Then click on the APN and then enter the APN of your network if you don’t know the APN of you network search it on the Google and you can also contact your service provider for the APN.
- After you type your APN in the box copy it and slide down there you will see personal hotspot and there is also an APN option paste the APN that you copy.
After entering the APN you should be able to see that the problem of missing hotspot is fixed but if still the problem is not fixed let’s try other options.
Method 2 How to fix Personal Hotspot Missing problem in iPhone in iOS 9.3
If the previous option doesn’t work try these steps:-
- Go to the settings options scroll down n you will see general click and open general settings then again scroll down at the last you will see reset option there, click and open it. After opening you will see reset network setting and try to reset your network settings and enter your password there just make sure that you want to reset your network settings. After that, it will reset your network settings.
- If this option doesn’t work go back a single step you will see reset all settings on the top click on the reset all setting option enter your password and reset all settings and this will only remove your settings like the password you save for the Wi-Fi or APN you saved etc.
But still you are facing that problem and fed up of all the ways you just try to reset all data from your device.
Now again go to the setting option scroll down go to the general scroll down at the last you will see reset option click there, after opening reset option on the 2nd number you will see Erase all content and settings it will ask you for your password enter the password and try this step, but if your device is jailbroken don’t go ahead, it will hit all content and settings because at the last you will just see the Apple logo and nothing will happen everything just remains the same and if you don’t want to reset your iPhone by using reset option, just open iTunes and select your iPhone which is connected via USB on the right side you will see an option restore iPhone just click there and enter ok after that your iPhone would be set to the factory default and it will fix your problem.
